This scooter is fun to ride and getting great gas mileage. It's best feature is the price by far as this is an economy scooter. It comes with a 6 month warranty so if you are looking for more peace of mind then you might look at the Linhai brand as pay a little more. I recommend the battery upgrade as I have had several go dead within a couple months. Overall, it rides well and gets 80-120 miles per gallon.

Unit Checklist
FOR YOUTH ATV BEGINNERS - Adjusting the Throttle Control before letting rider ride. When starting the unit up make sure that throttle control is as low as it can be tightened. The throttle control is located on the topside of the throttle on the handlebar. Loosen the nut and then tighten the screw down. Continually do this until you find the right adjustment to it's safe enough to let your child ride. You'll need to play with this to find the right speed.
Make sure the emergency brake is on before starting the unit. This is located on the left handlebar. Push the button in and clamp the brake before starting the unit up. To start the bike, the hand brake needs to be in a locked position anyway.
Make sure the rider is prepared to ride when the brake is released.
- Tighten all bolts on wheels. Make sure wheels properly rotate.
- Tighten all bolts on unit.
- Make sure that handlebars, exhaust pipe, frame and other noticeable parts on bike are properly attached and bolted down.
Safety Checklist
- Proper attire is warn.
- Helmet
- Goggles
- ATV boots
- Gloves
- Chest protector
These items should be warn at all times during riding.
Too many times people think they're immune to wrecking so they'll hop on the bike and just go. New riders are not used to the concept of using their thumb to accelerate. This causes the rider to increase acceleration and lose concentration. To avoid this, it is imperative to teach the rider how to do the following:
- Show how to shut off engine with red shut off button (red button on left handlebar).
- Ease into the acceleration by slowly pushing thumb throttle forward. If throttle should stick, show how to pull throttle back into neutral state.
- Use right thumb to flick the throttle back into neutral.
- Show rider how to "let off thumb throttle control" when rider is out of control.
- Show rider how to stop with left hand brake.
- Tell rider to not get distracted with adjusting helmets, boots or anything on the unit while riding or in acceleration mode. It is imperative the rider stops to adjust anything. They need to understand that by being safe to themselves and others riding, they need to be extremely careful about what they are doing is not distracting themselves.
Conclusion
People love riding and when they are shown the proper procedures of using their ATV, Dirt Bike, side by side, Scooter or Motorcycle, it's a lot more fun and safe for everyone on the beaten path. That's the Riders Wholesale way!
